The Harvard City Council has initially agreed to annex and zone 56 acres on the west side of the city for the new 233-home Shadow Creek subdivision.
The council voted unanimously last week after a brief presentation from developer Will Clark. The city’s Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on an annexation agreement and a development plan.
The next step will be for the city’s Zoning Board of Appeals to make recommendations on zoning and the development plan. A final vote by the full council on the plan and the annexation agreement could happen as early as the second meeting in April.
Shadow Creek would be built along Airport Road.
