David J. Bailey, 76, of Schaumburg, formerly a resident of Barrington for more than 40 years, died Saturday in Friendship Village, Schaumburg. Mr. Bailey, who was born in Ferguson, Mo., was a retired advertising sales representative for the Milwaukee Journal, Broadcasting magazine, Advertising Age and Crain’s Chicago Business. Mr. Bailey was a member of the Barrington Zoning Board of Appeals from 1985 to 1997. He was a World War II veteran and a captain in the U.S. Army Reserves. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in St. Michael Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave., Barrington. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
