Adele A. Butler, 96, of McHenry died Tuesday in Valley-Hi Nursing Center in Woodstock. A lifelong McHenry resident, Mrs. Keller was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in McHenry. She also had been active in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, National Catholic Society of Foresters St. Clara Court No. 659, and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 491 in McHenry. Survivors include a son, Donald J. Butler; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in Peter M. Justen Colonial Funeral Home, 3807 W. Elm St., McHenry. Funeral mass will be said at 11:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1401 N. Richmond Rd., McHenry.
