Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Birthday: Oct. 14, 1969.

Birthplace: Glen Cove, N.Y.

Occupation: Actor.

Current home: Santa Monica, Calif.

Marital status: Single, but I have a girlfriend.

Car: A black 1999 BMW 740.

Working on: I play Todd on “Suddenly Susan” on NBC-TV, and I’m in “Forces of Nature” with Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck.

Favorite pigout food: Wheat grass. You get the nutritional benefit of six pounds of raw vegetables in a two-ounce shot.

Prized possession: A classic Gibson guitar. It was given to me after I played one on the show.

Personal hero: My mother. She works finding missing children. It’s such an admirable job. She doesn’t get paid very much but she works 55 hours a week.

I’m better than anyone else when it comes to: Choosing music for whatever the occasion.

If I could do it over: I would never have discovered alcohol.

I’d give anything to meet: Madeleine Albright. I’d like to know what goes on in her mind. She’s so efficient. I wonder if she has any personality outside her job. I wonder if she’s funny.

My fantasy is: I’m living on a farm in the middle of nowhere with three kids and a wife and I’m a novelist.

The worst advice my father ever gave me: “If something is bothering you, keep it to yourself.”

People who knew me in high school thought I was: Funny. I was the class clown.

My most irrational act: Not going to college. My parents wanted me to go and, looking back, I wanted to go too. But I wanted to make a statement about being an actor by not going to college.

If I weren’t an actor, I’d be: A schoolteacher or an inmate.

Most humbling experience: Reading the reviews of “Suddenly Susan.”

The three words that best describe me: Opinionated, stubborn and loyal.
