The Park District Board on Wednesday is scheduled to discuss how to rescue the concession stand at DiOrio Field and save the Bensenville Boys Athletic Association.
The DuPage County Health Department shut down the Park District-owned facility after an inspection last month revealed sanitary problems, broken equipment and other items that needed repair.
County officials said they plan no disciplinary action against the non-profit athletic association, which runs the stand.
