Guy Mazzacavallo, 76, of Oak Lawn, died March 17 in Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park of cancer. During World War II, he was a radio mechanic with the Army Air Forces for a year and a half. For close to 40 years he worked at Goodman Manufacturing in Chicago as a foreman in the machine shop. “His word was always good,” said his son Guy Jr. “He spent a lot of time helping others.” Other survivors include his wife, Tess C., and a sister, Inez Tourville. Mass was said Saturday.
