George W. Danforth, 79, of unincorporated Hinsdale died Monday in his home. Born in Chicago, Mr. Danforth was a foreman for Borg Warner, working for 30 years. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles and bowling. Survivors include two daughters, Karen Wild and Debbie Karpus; three sons, James, Robert and David; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
