John Van Kirk, 98, of St. Charles, and formerly Villa Park and Lombard, died Tuesday in Carrington Care Center in South Elgin. Born in Netherlands, Mr. Van Kirk was employed for more than 40 years at Autorad Co. in Melrose Park. Survivors include a son, John; a daughter, Pamela Legner; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
