This is in response to the May 20 article in the Business section regarding the new Tampax ads by Leo Burnett, in which Burnett had to delete a scene from one of the ads because “The networks prohibit ads that show men physically interacting with women who might be menstruating.” How about a reality check–every single day men interact with menstruating women. We are in the work force; we don’t stay home for a week each month when we are menstruating. Aren’t we entering the 21st Century? Let’s get real.
