– Sales are under way at two Alan Dale Homes communities, Nature’s Crossing in Plainfield and Kylyn’s Crossing in Yorkville.
An identical product line is available at both communities. It features 14 ranch, split-level and two-story homes ranging from 1,350 to 2,800 square feet. They offer three or four bedrooms, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths, a full basement and an attached two-car garage (with three-car option).

Nature’s Crossing, a community of 145 single-family homes in southwest suburban Plainfield, has a 38-acre park set to include ball fields, bike trails, a fishing lake and sledding hill.
Kylyn’s Crossing, planned for 26 single-family homes, is located in Kendall County a half-mile east of Illinois Highway 47 on Cannonball Trail. An on-site model/sales center is scheduled to open in August and first occupancies will follow in November and December.
Until the new Kylyn’s Crossing model opens, sales for both communities are being conducted from the Nature’s Crossing sales center. To reach the community, take U.S. Highway 30 to 135th Street and turn west one mile to the community entrance.
Sales hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

– Ground will be broken this month on 13 three-story detached single-family homes in Phase IV at Plaisance Place in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood. They will be located on the east side of Ellis Avenue, south of 62nd Street. Base prices are expected to range from $210,000 to $240,000.
In 1993, Thrush Development Co., in joint venture with the Woodlawn Preservation Investment Corp. (WPIC), introduced Plaisance Place, a gated community of market-rate town homes and single-family homes.
The homes in Phase IV will be similar to the 13 single-family homes built in Phase III. Exceptions include a standard powder room on the main level and an option for reconfiguring the lower level as a small apartment with an outside entrance. The standard plans feature this space as a family room.
