Reading Skip Bayless’ “Selfish Story-Spinner? Say it ain’t Sosa” (Tribune, May 29), I wondered what he knew about Cubs fans. Did he really believe we thought Sammy Sosa and Mark McGuire would hang out together during the summer? Please. As a former bleacher bum and lifelong Cubs fan, that thought never occurred to me. What I did think was how good Sammy was for baseball, and how glad I was that he was a Cub.
I have a suggestions for the Tribune: Put Bayless on the 21-day disabled list. Or better yet, trade him to another paper.
