Bravo to Bob Greene for his column “Good news, you guys!” (Tempo, June 28). He validated my feelings so well. Probably eight out of 10 waitresses and waiters refer to my husband and me as “you guys.” I cringe when they say it. When I was a waitress, I referred to people as “you folks.” It sounds much more respectful.
