Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I am neither a shareholder nor an employee of Commonwealth Edison; however, I resent the “left-wing spin” in “ComEd sheds only so much light on outages” (Page 1, July 18), which states that ComEd “was allowed to reap a windfall of hundreds of millions of dollars by selling off coal-fired power plants that had been paid for by rate payers.” May I assume that if the Tribune were to sell Tribune Tower, you would report it as having reaped a windfall by selling off a facility that was paid for by newspaper subscribers? It would make as much sense.
