The Fourth Presbyterian Church wants to help Gen Xers make a difference. The church’s Fourth Dimension Initiative encourages volunteer work for Chicago charities by making it accessible and fun. For example: Saturday night the church’s Summer Bash is at Navy Pier’s roof deck from 7 p.m. to midnight. Celtic rockers The Drovers perform, and attendees can meet reps from 35 not-for-profit organizations. Tickets: $20 at the door, $15 in advance at the church, 126 E.
