In the Aug. 15 Other Views, Mr. Phil Courington severely criticized Malcolm Moran’s coverage of the ongoing Notre Dame-Kim Dunbar saga. As an ND fan and alumnus, I have found Moran’s coverage to be pretty fair and objective.
On the other hand, since the coverage was in the Tribune, It is understandable that one can presuppose a negative ND slant. However, this slant is more likely to occur in the writings of Messrs. Bayless, Lincicome and Rosenbloom.
