Sidney E. Hersey, 70, of Addison died Friday in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Born in Chicago, Mr. Hersey served in the Marine Corps from 1946 to 1948 and was a consultant for a wine company. Survivors include his wife, Rose; two daughters, Deborah and Dolores Ramos; two sons, James and Patrick; a sister, Marlene Feign; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m., with services at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday in Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison.
