“Stroger the one to see about a job” (Page 1, Oct. 3), critical of John Stroger placing loyal people in key positions, was unfair. Stroger is an exemplary County Board president who oversees a fiscally responsible and proactive government. His political ideology is inclusive evidenced by individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds being appointed to administrative positions. Stroger is responsible for conceiving a County Hospital that will provide trauma centers accessible to people of all income levels. Our forest preserves are vibrant under the stewardship of Stroger. His amiable demeanor is indicative of a man endowed with grace and dignity.
