A browser can’t do everything, so sometimes it requires plug-ins that expand its capabilities. By “plugging in” to these tools, you can see and hear things, like audio and video files. If you don’t have the right plug-in for a Web site, often it will tell you what plug-in you’ll need and how to download it.
