Lawrence E. “Red” Crone, 87, of Harvard died Saturday in Wisconsin. He was a dairy farmer for most of his life and a school bus driver in Harvard for more than 30 years. He had served on community school boards and was an original member of the Soil and Water Conservation District. Survivors include four daughters, Betty Gleason, Judy Schrock, Lana Dickerson and Lynette; two sons, Jim and Richard; a sister, Effie Emerson; a brother, David; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church, 309 N. Division St., Harvard.
