Jamie I. Moore, 73, of Bartlett, a longtime resident of Medinah and a retired route supervisor for Anheuser-Busch, died Wednesday of emphysema at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Born in McCook, Neb., Mr. Moore joined the Army Air Forces in 1944. After World War II, he moved to Chicago. In 1956 he went to work as a salesman for Anheuser-Busch, retiring in 1988 as a route supervisor. Mr. Moore was known to make apple pies in batches of five, up to 25 pies a season, using fruits picked from trees on his property. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; a son, Michael; a daughter, Dawn Warfel; a sister, Beulah Muscari; two granddaughters; and a grandson. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Trinity Lutheran Church, 405 S. Rush St., Roselle.
