Doris Lytle, 96, of Chicago, formerly of Wheaton, died Nov. 17 at home. Mrs. Lytle was the widow of Howard Lytle, who was executive director of Goodwill Industries of Indianapolis from 1934 to 1969. From 1934 to 1944, Mrs. Lytle was the social services director of Goodwill Industries. She also was a founding member of the National Auxiliary to Goodwill Industries. In 1983, she moved to Wheaton, where she was an active member of the PEO and First Presbyterian Church. After her husband’s death in 1993, she moved to Chicago to be near her daughter. Survivors include two daughters, Anne Dirks and Doris Clark; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, 715 N. Carlton Ave., Wheaton.
