Peter J. DeBiase, 90, a 30-year resident of Downers Grove, died Sunday, Jan. 2, in his home. A Chicago native, Mr. DeBiase was a postal clerk who worked at the main post office in Chicago for 24 years. He also worked as a clerk at American National Bank in Chicago. An Army veteran, Mr. DeBiase participated in the invasion of Anzio, Italy, in World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Joycelinn O’Brien; a brother, Fred; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St., Downers Grove. A mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Church, 4832 Main St., Downers Grove.
