I made it to 2000! I didn’t expect to since I was born April 27, 1901, but here I am in my second-floor apartment (I enjoy steps–good exercise!). I attended our First Presbyterian Church in La Grange on Jan. 2 and Christmas Eve, and had a good lunch with my son-in-law. The sad part is that my daughter is in the hospital. So I must take the bad with the good.
I have too many memories to impose on anyone. I watched on TV each country change to 2000 until Chicago. Great fireworks, and loved all the music too.
