Baseball fans need to grow a thicker skin. So Atlanta pitcher John Rocker said some things that some people found insulting. Big deal. I am a proud fan of professional wrestling–the king of sports–and with wrestling on television five days a week, I get insulted on a regular basis.
My heredity, heritage, gene pool, number of teeth in my head, waistline, proclivity to clip coupons, intelligence, menial job I hold and a thousand other things are routinely slandered by certain wrestlers. So what? I still like to see them perform, and justice usually wins out in the end anyway.
As for John Rocker, any baseball fan would love to see him on their team.
