I was disgusted to read Andrew Bagnato’s article saying Florida State’s Peter Warrick had redeemed himself in the Sugar Bowl (Tribune, Jan. 5). He caught a few passes and scored some touchdowns and suddenly we’re to forget his “discount shopping” and his unrepentant arrogance? Remorse? Humility? They are as foreign to Warrick as silence is to the Bowden family.
Peter Warrick may be a remarkable athlete, but he is no winner. You in the media are wrong to put him on a pedestal.
