The McHenry Economic Development Commission is moving forward with plans to build a riverwalk along the Fox River.
“I’ve had many people contact me and say this is the right time for this project,” said Kit Carstens, chairman of the Riverwalk Committee, during a luncheon Tuesday.
The committee has five subcommittees that will provide input on preliminary designs to the full committee by March. Preliminary concept drawings will be submitted by June.
