I do not understand why you are still calling “Mumbai,” “Bombay.” If your readers are yet unfamiliar with the new name of Bombay, please write Bombay in parentheses after Mumbai, but do use the new name. This will educate your readers about the new name of that great city of India.
Another point that bothers me is that you keep calling Bharatiya Janata Party a Hindu nationalist party. Many object to this labeling of the ruling party of India.
