George Kocan lamented that the editorial board biographies published Jan. 2 did not contain “important” information such as salaries, religious affiliations and voting records (Voice of the people, Jan. 12). Perhaps that is an underhanded compliment: The editorials are so balanced and objective that partisanship cannot be discerned.
And voting–isn’t that a confidential right for all citizens?
I’ll bet he thinks Mike Royko’s columns should have had a disclaimer such as “Warning: This is a satire. It may not reflect the personal opinion of the writer!”
