I can’t wait for Jan. 1, 2001, for two reasons. First of all, I am looking forward to the second annual new millennium celebration. Second, all the people (including newscasters and Chicago Tribune writers) who continue to believe that they are living in the 21st Century will thereafter be right for the rest of their lives.
