John E. “Jack” Burggraf, 70, of Naperville died Monday, Jan. 24, in Aurora Manor Nursing Center. A Chicago native, Mr. Burggraf worked in a supervisory position for Western Electric, where he was employed from 1955 to 1986. Mr. Burggraf received a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in 1953 and had served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873 in Naperville and Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Naperville. Survivors include two sons, Mark and Jay; two daughters, Colleen Hayes and Erin Oury; a brother, Donald; and a sister, Rosemary Jones. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren Ave., Naperville. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.
