To prepare for the Bill Murray Scenario — in 1993’s “Groundhog Day,” his cynical Phil the Weatherman character lives the same day over and over — we recommend finding a really nice celebration location to wait out eternity. If you can’t afford Maui, there’s the Brookfield Zoo, which will watch the groundhog Sunshine (and his shadow) at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Avenue and 31st Street in Brookfield. Zoo tickets are $7 ($3.50 for kids). 708-485-0263. Afterward, stake out a place in line at any Chicagoland McDonald’s. If spring is coming, burgers will be 25 cents for the day; if six weeks of winter remain, cheeseburgers will be 35 cents (a limit of five burgers per customer, per visit). Don’t worry: The burgers are made of beef, as usual — not groundhog.
