I greatly enjoyed the “Monkeying with evolution” (Kidnews, Jan. 18) article based on creationism versus evolutionism. I am a sophomore attending Niles West High School, and we have studied John Scopes and his trial. The article stated that John Scopes was a biology teacher. This is a common misunderstanding. Actually Scopes was a math teacher who would sometimes substitute in the biology class.
