Oliver Bishop thinks posting student test scores publicly might exert useful peer pressure on students to work harder (Voice of the people, Feb. 3). Following that reasoning, I assume he would like to see his medical records and tax return posted publicly in places where his peers can see them. After all, if he has any lifestyle-related medical problems, he probably could use a little peer pressure to improve his habits. Similarly if he makes less money than his friends and relatives or gives less to charity, I imagine he would appreciate the pressure to work harder or be more generous.
