Whatever you do, avoid Marvin Gardens at the big Navy Pier flower show this weekend — they’ll charge you $260 just for stopping by! (Sorry, bad Monopoly joke.) But each of the more than 20 theme gardens, including a re-creation of artist Claude Monet’s vision of Giverny and some Japanese serenity foliage, is fair (and much cheaper) game. The sixth annual Chicago Flower and Garden Show, which includes how-to lectures and educational gardening booths from respectable green thumbs like Morton Arboretum and the Chicago Botanic Gardens, begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and runs through March 19 at Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave. Admission: $9.50; $11 on weekends (discounts for children). 312-321-0077.
