We are beginning to receive these warnings that the census forms are coming. Everyone should only fill out how many people live in their home and leave blank the 50 intrusive personal questions that are none of the federal government’s business.
They wonder why compliance is so low–it’s because people are tired of the government perverting simple tasks the government is supposed to do into Big Brother Government.
It clearly states in Article I Section 2 in the Constitution that the census shall be used to determine representatives in Congress.”The actual enumeration shall be made within three years after the first meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent term of 10 years, in such manner as they shall by law direct.”
This is ignored. The census wasn’t intended to be used as a scare tactic or to blackmail cities and states with the promise of federal money that is collected from its citizens anyway. It was to be used for one purpose and one purpose only–to determine the number of people for representation.
