Peter M. Miskinis, 77, of Arlington Heights died Tuesday, March 7, in Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Mr. Miskinis, a Chicago native, retired in 1990 as vice president of purchasing at UNR Industries Inc., formerly in Chicago, after 28 years of service. In 1957, Mr. Miskinis received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. “He was a very devout man and very family-oriented,” said his wife of 42 years, Mary. Other survivors include two sons, Shawn Joseph and Peter Martin; and two sisters, Donna Naujokas and Helen Pratt. A mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
