Ivan Jay Miller, 82, of Wheaton, and formerly of Winfield and Bensenville, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, in the DuPage County Convalescent Center in Wheaton. Born in Wisconsin, Mr. Miller had lived for the last 30 years at the DuPage County Convalescent Center, where he was well-liked, said his nephew, Jeff Schweppe. “He had a lot of friends there,” Schweppe said. Mr. Miller attended grade school in Bensenville, where he spent his formative years. “He was a gentle person,” Schweppe added. Other survivors include a sister, Elaine Schweppe, and a brother, Wilbert. Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. Friday until the time of memorial services at 4 p.m. in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 305 E. Madison St., Lombard.
