This is regarding Daniel John Sobieski’s “We don’t need more gun laws” (Voice of the people, March 6). To say that law-abiding citizens need to carry handguns to protect themselves and their families is to show that we are living in a society where most anybody can own a gun, therefore everybody is in danger, as opposed to living in a society where strict handgun laws make all of us feel safer.
