Carl T. Smith, 85, of Crystal Lake, died Sunday, March 12, in his home. He had been employed for most of his career by a heating and air conditioning company as a sheet metal worker. Mr. Smith enjoyed working with stained glass. Survivors include two daughters, Karin Miller and Linda Clifford; two sons, Benjamin and William; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday and the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Justen and Son Funeral Home, 3519 W. Elm St., McHenry.
