The recent Super Tuesday elections once again demonstrated the necessity for a nationwide primary election where all states hold their primaries or caucuses on the same day.

The presidential candidates for each party have been determined before the Illinois primary, making the upcoming election less significant, except for local issues, and, therefore, decreasing voter interest.

Our Congress should enact a national primary law so that voters across the country will all vote on the same day in primary elections.
