Congratulations to Stephanie Lintz for a great letter March 15 exposing the scientific fact that the birth control pill works as an abortifacient. Most women do not realize that what they think is birth control may be an abortion. And many doctors gloss over that reality when the subject is raised.
There is also increasing evidence of a strong link between the birth control pill and an increased risk of breast cancer. Women deserve to be informed of the risks of taking oral contraceptives.
