Thomas P. Antonucci Sr., with his family, co-founded Antonucci’s Hair Design, a Palatine salon, in 1984. Mr. Antonucci was previously a truck driver for Amoco Oil Co. in Whiting, Ind., where he worked from 1968 to 1983. Mr. Antonucci, 58, of Palatine died Wednesday, March 22, in Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. His wife, Marsha, said, “He was the most wonderful husband, father and grandfather.” Other survivors include two daughters, Michelle Mackey and Amy Carr; two sons, Thomas P. Jr. and Adam; a brother, Rocco; and four grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. A service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
