Thank you for Jan Crawford Greenburg’s “Supreme opportunities for the next president” (Perspectvie, March 12). Every voter should consider his or her choice for president in November primarily as it affects the direction of our Supreme Court.
Issues of the greatest consequence to our country, such as abortion, separation of church and state, affirmative action, states’ rights, etc. will be decided by the next court.
Let’s be sure to leave the future of our democracy with those who hold the promise of decisions based on the greatest good for the greatest number of people.
