If you’ve never met Valerie Markowski, 12, of McHenry, she’ll soon be as close as a Kraft Macaroni & Cheese box. Valerie is one of 12 young winners of Kraft’s “I Want the Blues!” contest, in which kids explain in words or art why they like mac and cheese. Photos of the 12 winners will be displayed on 20 million boxes. Among Valerie’s prizes is a $10,000 college scholarship.
