Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Showing off a collection and storing it often go hand in hand, and there may be no better way to do both than with a display case. It has all the required options: shelves to present favorite items, edged with glass to keep them pristine and protected.

Placing objects on display elevates their significance, so it’s important to use those shelves to good effect. Arrange items into miniature exhibitions where they take center stage. And remember to change the show every now and then: an arrangement left too long on a shelf in the same position loses its impact, and eventually its audience.

The right display cases are always hard to find when you need them, so we asked design experts for their picks on the sort of piece that could do the job.
