The Tribune offered a tame editorial (“The Confederate flag’s proper place,” April 19) regarding where the Confederate flag belongs in Charleston, S.C. I can make a most appropriate recommendation for its proper place–in the trash bin! And that’s where it belonged a 100 years ago.
