W. Atlee Burpee & Co. of Warminster, Pa., recently opened a retail store, Burpee Gardens, 1100 Ogden Ave., Downers Grove, as an enhancement to its mail order and e-commerce businesses. The company contributed 10 percent of the grand opening weekend sales to rejuvenate the interior courtyard at Downers Grove North High School.
