If you missed Cirque du Soleil or Barnum’s “Kaleidoscape,” you have another opportunity to experience entertainment under a big top. As part of its 25th season anniversary celebration, Six Flags Great America will unveil The Great Russian Circus 2000, featuring a troupe of skilled acrobats, trapeze artists and tightrope walkers. The circus also will feature an eclectic mix of European-styled performances, some of which add a great deal of danger to traditional circus acts.

And if the circus’ background music doesn’t satisfy your Memorial Day weekend boogie fever, take a trip over to the grand stand and take part in Country Music Weekend starring Bryan White. The circus will take place in the park’s Southwest Territory. There is no additional admission for the circus or the Bryan White performance.

Six Flags is located off Interstate 94 at the Grand Avenue East exit. Park admission is $39.99 for adults, $19.99 for kids. 847-249-INFO.
