Come August, jazz lovers may have a new spot in Glen Ellyn to listen to live music and enjoy a meal. Prospective restaurant owner Michael Johnston’s special-use permit and liquor license are scheduled for approval at the June 12 Village Board meeting.
Michael’s Restaurant would be located in downtown Glen Ellyn on Crescent Boulevard and feature live music Wednesday through Saturday and possibly Sunday as well.
The current plan is to be open for dinner and, possibly, Sunday brunch, Johnston told trustees at Monday’s Village Board workshop meeting.
