A veteran Commonwealth Edison worker was electrocuted Wednesday afternoon when he came in contact with an overhead wire in Lakewood near Crystal Lake.
The worker was identified as Timothy A. Miller, 40, of Woodstock, who had worked for ComEd for 20 years, said Mollie West, a ComEd spokeswoman. No one else was injured in the accident. Miller was pronounced dead at Woodstock Memorial Hospital. An investigation into the incident is under way, West said.
